Material meditations on the intimate and the immense
I work with cloth to think about what it means to be human and how we engage with the material world.
Using natural fibres and collected remnants, I work through slow, considered processes of weaving, stitching and joining by hand. The precision is not incidental: it is what allows intuition to emerge, a rhythm of control and release. These processes are acts of care and of listening, gestures that build upon one another, reflecting our relationship with our environment, one another, ourselves, and with time itself.
Each piece becomes a tactile archive, holding the memory of touch and time.
An invitation to notice sensation, to linger and to inhabit the world with feeling.
