The Veldt Cushion

The 'Veldt Cushion' is woven entirely by hand in our Cape Town Studio using Mohair from the Karoo which is locally hand spun.
Our colours are selected from dye over runs at our favourite local handwoven rug artisans. This means our tiny contribution towards closing the loop of circularity in materials and manufacture while simultaneously being able to create absolutely unique, spontaneous and joyful relationships between hues and tones.
The minimal design invites you to experience the rich depth of the cycles of our environment embodied in every fibre, and in its mirroring of the horizon, we hope this cushion will bring a sense of its limitless grounding into your home and heart.
